Terms of Service

Giggin (“Giggin,” “we,” “us”) is a platform where musicians, producers, engineers, and other music people connect, share work, and collaborate. It is operated from Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and available at giggin.gg. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Giggin.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Giggin, and if you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission. Give us accurate information, keep your login credentials to yourself, and use one account that represents you. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you believe someone else has accessed it, tell us through the Support page right away.

A free account includes browsing, connecting, messaging, replying to posts, and RSVPing to events. The paid Insider membership adds creation: uploading tracks, posting gigs and opportunities, hosting events, and listing gear.

Insider is billed monthly through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't prorate or refund partial months except where the law requires it. The current price is a limited-time launch rate — if the price changes, we'll notify you before it affects your renewal. Student access (a free Insider membership for holders of a valid .edu email) is a limited-time offer we may modify or end; we'll give students notice before any change affects their account.

You own what you post on Giggin — your music, photos, posts, and profile. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, stream, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the service (for example, streaming your tracks to profile visitors or showing your profile in search and discovery). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that live briefly in backups.

Only upload what you have the rights to. If a track has co-writers, a label, samples, or anyone else with a claim on it, it's your job to have their permission before it goes on your profile.

We respect copyright and expect the community to do the same. If you believe content on Giggin infringes your copyright, send a notice through the Support page with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) the URL of the infringing material, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorized, and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them. We will remove or disable access to content that a valid notice identifies, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Don't use Giggin to:

• harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone;
• post content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative;
• upload music or other material you don't have rights to;
• spam, scrape, or harvest member data, or send unsolicited promotion through DMs;
• post scams or misleading gigs, listings, or events;
• interfere with the service — probing, breaking, or overloading it.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

Gigs, gear sales, collaborations, and anything else arranged between members are between those members. Giggin is not a party to those transactions, doesn't process payments between members, and doesn't vet, guarantee, or insure what members offer each other. Use judgment and put real agreements in writing.

Giggin is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these terms as Giggin evolves. For material changes we'll give notice — on the site or by email — before they take effect. Continuing to use Giggin after changes take effect means you accept them. Questions? Reach us through the Support page.
